About Me

My name is Carlos Gutierrez, I graduated from Harvard University in Spring 2024 with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I was born and raised in rural Texas, in the outskirts of Austin, where my engineering passion began in automotive repairs and modifications with my father. 

I have experience in complex problem solving in industry and academia, participating in internships, and a number of group and individual projects, both in, and out of classes and clubs. My career experience has been varied, as I have dabbled in manufacturing, equipment and mechanical engineering, while most recently involved in construction management. 

In my spare time, I like to practice or learn skills that help me become a better engineer, resto-modding my 65 Mustang with custom made parts, modify (usually repair) my Scion FRS. I love to road trip and occasionally photograph and
